Members of Ralston Creek Cohousing are holding an open house and site tour. View an existing town home in the Geos Neighborhood across the street from the future site of “The Gatehouse”, a 3 story condominium building, and learn about the net zero energy technology that will also be implemented in the cohousing building. Net zero construction utilizes solar and geothermal energy to heat, cool and power the Geos homes. The future site of “The Gatehouse” is located next to the Ralston Creek Trail in Arvada, just west of the intersection of 69th and Indiana. Guides will be available to answer questions about cohousing and to show you the features of net zero construction. As a member of Ralston Creek Cohousing you will have your own complete unit including kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, dining and living room, while sharing space in the common house such as kitchen and dining areas for community meals, spaces for hobbies, relaxing, and even guest rooms. You will have the convenience of one floor living as there will be an elevator as well as stairs. Cohousing combines private and shared space to create an intentional community that encourages interaction, caring, and sharing. Cohousing neighborhoods are designed for privacy as well as community.
