Fast forward 40 years: Bob and I have completed remodeling our home, studio and gardens while sharing our life and love as foster parents for Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies. 150 fosters later, our senior dog, Owhen, still enjoys the occasional pet sitting opportunities we can’t resist. Semi-retired from the gallery world, I continue to mentor artists, am financial advisor to the co-op and play at card making, costuming and dreaming up dog events. I make an annual trek back to my roots at the Jersey shore and am happiest when pulling weeds or donating home grown vegetables.
The Gatehouse at Geos has so much for us! We will be just blocks from the dog rescue. It brings full circle the hiking on the bike path along a creek that caught the fancy of my younger self. (Except now it’s flat, paved and the water is tame.)
