DESCRIPTION:Arvadans for Progressive Action\, an Arvada citizen volunteer group\, is hosting a housing resource fair/ A variety of community organizations and government agencies\, including the City of Arvada\, will be in attendance to answer your housing questions \nWe’ll be there\, too\, with information on how co-housing and sustainable living lower your housing costs and how to get into Ralston Creek CoHousing.  A smaller unit in the Gatehouse would be a great starter home. Come by and visit our Ralston Creek Cohousing booth at the Majestic View Nature Center and say hello. \n“Get outdoors and move your feet\, pedal your bike or just enjoy a day of appreciating the outdoors as you explore nature\, participate in eco-friendly activities\, learn about resource conservation\, and experience some of Arvada’s 150 miles of wonderful hiking\, biking\, and horseback riding trails! \nStart the day by jumping onto Arvada’s trails at 9am with a 5-mile Family Bike Ride or a 15-mile Recreational Bike Ride. Arrive 15 minutes early for sign-in\, bike prep and meet ‘n’ greet at the Majestic View Park North Parking Lot (W. 72nd Ave just West of Carr St.) See what Arvada’s trails have to offer and discover the wildlife that lives among them. Parking will be available at both sites (Two Ponds parking at 80th and Kipling; Majestic View parking at 7030 Garrison St.). \nThen\, relax on a stroll down the trails to visit the many outdoor\, nature and educational booths at both Two Ponds and Majestic View. And\, with the 2018 Year of the Bird\, everyone is encouraged to bring their binoculars and their eagle eyes to spot any feathered friends nearby as we enjoy many bird-themed games and nature activities.
